Call for Papers

12th Actuarial and Financial Mathematics Conference
Interplay between Finance and Insurance

We are pleased to announce a call for papers for our 12th Actuarial and Financial Mathematics Conference, to be held in Brussels, Belgium, on 7 and 8 February 2019. The aim of this event is to bring together researchers and practitioners in the area of financial and actuarial mathematics, with a focus on the interplay between finance and insurance.

Each conference day will be composed of invited and contributed talks, a practitioners lecture and a dedicated poster session. Researchers – especially PhD students and junior postdocs – are encouraged to submit their work for a contributed talk or a poster presentation. PhD students and junior postdocs presenting a paper or a poster can also apply for a grant for travel and accomodation.

If you would like to present a paper, please submit a title, a one-page abstract and a full paper before 16 September following the guidelines explained on the conference website. For a poster presentation you only need to submit a title and a one-page abstract. You will be informed about the acceptance of your proposal by 31 October.
