Thank you again for registering for the Young OR day at NS on November 21! Below you can find all practical information for the event.

Important: please bring a form of identification (drivers license/passport/ID card). You will need this to enter the OCCR.

Unfortunately, due to time constraints we had to make some changes in the schedule and the tour at Utrecht Centraal is not possible anymore. You can find the adjusted schedule below. If possible please aim to arrive around 14:00, such that we can start with the presentations at 14:15.

Schedule for November 21:

14:00 Arrival at NS with coffee / tea (Utrecht Centraal – Kookschool)
14:15 – 15:15 Introduction & presentation on personnel planning
15:15 – 16:30 Tour at OCCR
16:30 – 17:00 Presentation on rolling stock dispatching
17:00 – 17:30 Break
17:30 – 18:30 Demonstrations of OR applications at NS
18:30 ~ Dinner in Utrecht at Comptoir Libanais

Directions to Kookschool:

When entering the station from the Hoog Catharijne side, proceed, do not check in, and walk along the check-in gates on your right until you reach the end. You’ll find a door on your right where we’ll be waiting for you to enter in groups. When arriving by train, exit via the check-in gates and go right until you cannot walk further. You’ll find a door on your right where we’ll be waiting for you to enter in groups.
