Guidelines NGB support

The NGB offers financial support to public events in the field of Operations Research, held in the Netherlands.

In 2025, the deadline for applications is set on February 9, 2025. An application should at least contain the following documents.

• Motivation letter describing how the event contributes to the field of Operations Research.
• Planned budget, including the expected number of participants and suggested participation fees.
• Description of how the NGB is advertised during the event, and what benefits NGB members have when participating.

After receiving all applications, the board of the NGB will make a decision. Among the applications, priority will be given to:

• Events that give special consideration to young researchers and young professionals.
• Events that are related to EURO, or one of its members (ORBEL, GOR, etc.).

Also, the NGB wants to stimulate events from all disciplines within Operations Research, as well as events from all regions within the Netherlands. This will be taken into consideration during the process.

The process described above is intended to be held once every year. Besides that, one could apply for financial support for events in 2025 during the year. It is up to the board of the NGB to decide if there are enough funds available.
